Communication throughout the production process is crucial for smooth operations. If your production staff are not in constant communication with your scheduler, logistics won't know that important orders may be slipping out of schedule or critical resources may be running low on a regular basis.
As your planners make decisions, those decisions need to be communicated to production staff. As things happen in production—even the things you don't want or haven't planned for like equipment failures—the planners need to know. Production status for large orders needs to be communicated regularly to your schedulers as well as your systems for inventory control and distribution.

Now you have an alternative: Production Client is a real-time link between logistics and production. Production Client simply and quickly communicates from the plant floor directly to your logistics department (or to anyone in your organization with a computer and the necessary access).
Production Client is straightforward and easy to use. Its straightforward design presents all the information an operator needs on a single screen. This screen is a dispatch list of operations in their scheduled sequence. With our Production Client, orders are finished when expected. As production is completed or the schedule is changed, our Production Client communicates with Taylor Scheduler and everyone is updated in real time.
Key components of Production Client include the following features:
- Production Client displays dispatch lists for each machine based on the schedule created by Taylor Scheduler. Machine operators clock in and out at client stations and report actual setup and run times, quantities produced or scrapped, and machine status information. In addition, a transaction list displays all work in the sequence it was processed.
- Supervisor Client displays machine status summary, machine summary, employee summary, and reports for selected machines or employees. The Supervisor Client allows the supervisor to edit and approve transactions.
- Administrator Client manages machine access, employees, titles, job code, machine down code, reports, and reason code tables used by the rest of the Production Client system.
- Building Login Client manages transactions for employees to log in and out of the facility.
