Taylor Adds New Label Finishing Capabilities for Wine & Spirits Market
FRESNO, CA (July 13, 2021) – Taylor Prime Labels and Packaging announced it has enhanced its labeling capabilities for the wine and spirits market with the addition of new finishing equipment from ABG Digicon. The new equipment allows Taylor to create pressure-sensitive bottle labels in rich, vibrant color with unmatched clarity.
“Our new finisher enables Taylor to add multiple visual and tactile embellishments to wine and spirits labels in a single pass, enhancing shelf appeal with greater efficiency and precision,” said John Tull, General Manager of the Taylor Prime Labels and Packaging plant in Fresno. These embellishments include embossing, lamination, hot foil stamping and raised screen printing.
“With more than 11,000 wineries in the U.S. and over half of them in California, demand for unique labels that catch the consumer’s eye is constantly growing,” Tull said. “Taylor has dedicated the resources necessary to provide quick turn times that allow producers to hit their all-important bottling windows.”
Taylor has been a trusted source of bottle labels for wine, spirits, olive oil and other essential oils for more than a decade. Its Fresno plant is ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 22000 certified. In addition, Taylor provides a wide range of printed materials to support these industries, including neck labels and tax seals, shipping carton and case labels, sales collateral, signage and displays, and promotional items.
