Bart's journey began when his parents moved to the US in 1973. Growing up in Edina, Minnesota, Bart was surrounded by a love for learning and a diverse cultural background. His father, a lover of opera, and his mother, a flight attendant who traveled the world, instilled in him a passion for education and making the most of life's opportunities.
Bart's formative years were filled with hockey, a staple in Minnesota, and he played throughout his school years. His experiences living in Europe and learning another language broadened his horizons and gave him a global perspective. After graduating from Santa Clara University during the first dot-com boom, Bart initially planned to attend law school but decided to take a break and work in Europe. This led to a career in sales and business development at the Star Tribune, where he helped grow their digital business.
Bart's personal life is deeply rooted in Minnesota, where he has been raising his family. He has been married for over 25 years and has two children who are active in sports. Bart is also passionate about learning world religions, finding peace and perspective through his studies.
At Taylor, Bart values entrepreneurial opportunities and the ability to shape the future of the company. He aims to build a finely tuned sales and business development organization, leveraging strategic precision marketing, sales talent, and new product development to create a predictable revenue engine.
